Watch: Why Did UN Take Over A Taxpayer-Funded Venue In Utah? This Is Creepy…

(Tea Party 247) – In August, the United Nations held its first US-based conference outside of New York City, and to do so, they took over the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Where things take a weird turn is that in so doing, they declared the venue “international territory,” shutting down a journalist’s right to film in the process.

The conference took place between August 26, 27, 28 of 2019, and the state legislature of Utah provided $650,000 for the event.

But as journalists attempted to cover the conference, specifically, security personnel, who were clearly foreigners, they were told they didn’t have permission and that the venue had been deemed “international territory.”

Here is some of the footage from Defending Utah.

Sons of Liberty Media notes that:

In fact, this was referred to not as Salt Palace, but as a “compound.”

• The UN says they “took over” the building

• The UN stated that the taxpayer funded Salt Palace was now “International Territory” where US rights don’t apply

• The UN stated that the United States was outside the doors of the Salt Palace

• The UN, who at best should have been a guest of Salt Lake, instead acted like an invader and denied a US citizen their 1st amendment rights

This is seriously disturbing. How is this even legal?

Defending Utah explains that “During the conference, pushing the UN’s anti-family/anti property rights/ anti American Agenda 2030, journalists covering the event were confronted by UN officers. ”

Tim Brown reports that he “spoke with Defending Utah co-founder Ben McClintock via phone and he told me that in addition to the $650,000 the state legislature provided, Salt Lake City chipped in another $100,000 or so for the event.”

Consider all the money, provided by the taxpayers of Utah, that goes into maintaining the venue that this globalist organization used to hold their conference, where they would plot on how to dismantle our borders, our communities, and most importantly, our rights.

How is this allowed to happen in the middle of an American city, paid for by Americans? What a joke that the UN pretends to be global watchmen for human rights, and yet here they are shutting down free speech in the world’s freest nation?

Defending Utah has also set up a petition at

  1. It’s agenda 21 plans. Happening now. Read the documents, as few have. And check out salt lake tribunes new article showing cribs and such in the new hospital, as well as the fact lawyers may soon skip bar exam. Wake up folks. We are being depopulated. It took them years but they are succeeding while 90% of country sleeps. Follow the money. Research research research

  2. are you not aware that the UN HQ in NYC is similarly UN territory. Turns out it is probably good for NYC as far as attracting people to the venue – or would you prefer that the UN met in another country where the US would certainly have less input? I would suppose that the Utah gov’t entities involved thought it would be similarly good for Utah & perhaps they felt honored that their venue was chosen. And just how long was this conference that it inspired so much fear that Utah needed to be defended?

  3. This is just the beginning. What is considered a harmless conference turns out to be a major takeover of an American City. Key point, not one shot was fired.
