(Tea Party 247) – The left is bound and determined to fight the dangerous “rape culture” that apparently exists on all college campuses everywhere. Their mission is to continue the fight against the patriarchy, believe all women, and force the idea that all men are sexual predators down our throats as often as possible.
Students in the UK are finally being taught it’s not OK to rape other people. It’s about time an educational institution took sexual abuse seriously. Now that the students there are being forced to see a screening of a play about “consent” they will surely be convinced to stop raping each other.
Paul Joseph Watson reports:
A university in the UK is forcing students to attend a mandatory screening of a play about “consent.”
Students were sent an email by the University of Essex which stated, “You are invited to a screening of the hit consent play Can’t Touch This.”
Except it wasn’t an ‘invitation’ at all, it was an order.
“Attendance at this screening is MANDATORY,” states the email, before going on to demand that students attend one of the many screenings.
“Those who do not attend will be contacted by our student support team,” threatens the email, asking attendees to “tap in” with their registration card.
Apparently, the University of Essex has such a low opinion of its male students that it thinks they need to be taught not to rape.
Feminists have harped on about the supposed “rape culture” on college campuses for years, but their assertions are based on completely erroneous data.
The claim that “one in five women on college campuses have been sexually assaulted,” which became so widespread it was even once uttered by President Obama, has been debunked.
The stat comes from a 2007 Campus Sexual Assault online study which took samples from just two universities and asked leading questions. The study is widely accepted to be too small and too biased to be of any impartial use.
A much more credible study carried out by the DOJ found that the figure was actually one in forty women and that the overall rape rate is in sharp decline.
It’s truly incredible how the left makes up facts or takes skewed and unproven “facts” and uses them to effect real rules and policies. This UK school obviously has the impression that it’s students are raping each other at an alarming rate thanks to the erroneous claim that one in five women on school campuses are sexually assaulted. It’s simply not true.
The left just can’t help themselves. They have to continue to perpetuate the idea that women are victims and helpless against the powerful and sex-hungry, evil patriarchy. The have created this narrative and now educational institutes are forcing their students to endure lessons that demean their character.
We have gone from a supposed rape culture to a shame culture for young men and boys. The left loves to frame males, especially white males, as nothing more than primitive sexual predators. Most men and boys are absolutely not sexual predators but in order for all women to be believed the general consensus must be that they are.
The #BelieveWomen phenomenon is only successful under the assumption that most, if not all, men are predators. It totally gives women a pass on their own behavior. There is no excuse for sexual assault or rape and it’s wrong; legitimate rape and sexual assault is wrong all the time. That being said, some cases of alleged sexual assault are just simply not sexual assault. A lot of women know the power they have over men and are more than capable of using that to their advantage.
It’s ridiculous that this UK school is forcing their students to watch this “consent” play as if they don’t already understand the concept of consent. As if they are all a bunch of wild, sex-crazed deviants just waiting for their opportunity to force someone else into having sex with them. At the university level you would hope the consent concept would be pretty generally understood.
It isn’t about teaching students that rape isn’t OK, they already know that; the video is being used as a tool to shame young men and to perpetuate victimhood mentality.
