Trump Stomps All Over Brad Pitt For Lame Impeachment Joke During Oscar Acceptance Speech; This Is Classic Trump

(Tea Party 247) – President Trump is notorious for being a counterpuncher, which means that he doesn’t pick fights, but when someone else starts one with him, he delivers the knockout blow that usually ends the whole thing. This quality, among many others, is one that tons of his supporters really seem to appreciate about him.

Recently, during the Oscars, actor Brad Pitt took the stage to accept an award for best supporting actor. During his time in the spotlight, Pitt wasted no time making a lame impeachment joke to impress all of his woke friends. Pitt went on to say something like, “I have forty-five seconds up here, which is more time than the Senate gave John Bolton,” referring to the fact that the Senate didn’t subpoena the former national security adviser to testify in the impeachment trial.

The only reason such a suggestion was even thought about at that time was because some of Bolton’s book “leaked” and seemed to indicate that Trump did a quid pro quo with Ukraine. Later on, Bolton admitted his testimony wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the trial.

Well, during a rally held in Colorado Springs, Trump addressed Pitt’s comments and his response is classic.

Via Gateway Pundit:

President Trump went off on the Academy Awards and Brad Pitt Thursday night at his rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

President Trump: “How bad were the Academy Awards this year?… And the winner is a movie from South Korea! What the hell was that? We got enough problems with South Korea with trade. On top of it they gave them the best movie of the year. I’m looking at it like, let’s get “Gone with the Wind.’ Let’s get “Gone with the Wind” back please. Sunset Boulevard. So many great movies. The winner is from South Korea. I thought it was best foreign film, right? Best foreign movie. No. It was best… Did this ever happen before? And then you have Brad Pitt. I was never a big fan of his. He got a little wise guy statement. A wise guy. He’s a little wise guy.”

This was after Brad Pitt took a swipe at Trump during the Oscars.

The crowd booed the liberal actor.

Radical left-wing celebrities don’t seem to be too bright. They might hate President Trump and those who support him, and that’s their right, however, their careers — where they make millions of dollars to play pretend — are made possible by ticket sales purchased by many of the folks they insult when they attack the president.

That doesn’t seem like a solid business practice, does it? Alienating your potential customers by being rude and nasty to them?

You see, Pitt’s assault on the president doesn’t end with him. By extension, he’s attacking the heartland of America where most of Trump’s supporters reside. These are the people who fork over money to see the movies actors like Pitt star in. Again, not a smart move.

Pitt is totally entitled to his own political opinions and he’s allowed to say whatever he wants. However, that doesn’t mean he escapes the social consequences for his actions, a fact of life conservatives know all too much about.
