(Tea Party 247) – When you’re known primarily for your trendy 90s-era layered hairstyle and having once been married to Brad Pitt, one doesn’t expect your insight into politics to be that robust.
But it’s 2020, and celebrities think that simply being famous and good at pretending to be fictional characters on screen makes one an authority on the most important moral and political issues of our times.
Anyone else sick of the ignorant, ill-informed virtue signaling from people who live in mansions and spend their days trying not to prevent aging?
Yeah, me too.
Jennifer Aniston, of “Friends” fame, took to Instagram recently to rant against “racist” President Donald Trump—and mock the only high-profile black man who is running for the White House.
“#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science… too many people have died,” she began her self-righteous rant.
“I urge you to really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we’re on right now… your daughters, the LGBTQ+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting),” she continued.
“This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue, it’s about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency,” she concluded.
Then, she added a snarky “PS – It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.” She finished this off with a emoji.
I’m sorry, did she just assume that someone would vote for Kanye only to be funny?
The only high-profile black man on the ticket, who has been quite outspoken about the racism of the Democrat Party and the real problems effecting the black community?
This seems pretty racist to me. The only reason she doesn’t take Kanye seriously is because he’s a black man who is not a liberal—and Kanye himself has done a pretty good job at articulating how racist white liberals get when black people express conservative opinions.
And Jennifer Aniston just did a pretty good job showing us exactly why no one needs to listen to Hollywood actresses when it comes to who we vote for.
