Finally: Christopher Steele Gets What Was Coming To Him After Penning Salacious Bogus Dossier

(Tea Party 247) – Well, it’s about time.

Three Russian oligarchs are suing the notorious Christopher Steele, the British ex-spy and author of the anti-Trump dossier on which the Deep State based its coup attempt, aka, Russia hoax investigation.

The dossier, of course, was funded by DNC oppo research firm Fusion GPS and the Hillary Campaign.

According to the DailyMail.Com, Peter Aven, the billionaire financier Mikhail Fridman, and oil tycoon German Khan take issue with Steele’s claims and have filed suit in a London court.

The Obama administration relied heavily on the dossier to launch their spy and frame-up campaign against the Trump 2016 election, which would later be used as the basis for the Special Counsel investigation, which couldn’t prove that Trump or any of his associates had done a thing.

The London judge, Justice Warby, warned Steele that if he fails to answer his questions, it could count against him in court.

The plaintiffs accuse Steele of making inaccurate and damaging claims against him and Warby has stated that he’s after the truth.

“I may be called on to rule whether he should be compelled to answer a question,” he said, warning Steele that he’ll need to prove his report was accurate.

WND explains:

Last month, lawyers for the Democratic National Committee and the Barack Obama White House claimed in a petition to dismiss a lawsuit by Carter Page that the dossier is essentially “true.”

The onetime Trump campaign adviser Page sued the DNC and its law firm of Perkins Coie, which hired Fusion GPS to produce the dossier. The Obama Justice Department and FBI used the dossier as primary evidence to obtain warrants to surveil Page in its investigation of claims of Trump-Russia collusion.

The motion to dismiss the case, however, contends the “alleged defamatory statements” against Page made by Steele “were substantially true,” the Washington Examiner reported.

The Democratic lawyers argue the court lacks jurisdiction, that Page’s claims of defamation and conspiracy passed the statute of limitations, and that Page did properly allege defamation and conspiracy,

“Here, the ‘gist’ of the complained-of statements — that Page coordinated with Russian government contacts as an adviser to the Trump campaign — aligns with Page’s own description of his conduct,” the motion states. “Page’s own allegations demonstrate the substantial truth of statements that Page traveled to Russia and met with associates of the Russian government. Plaintiffs’ defamation claims should be dismissed based on that basis alone.”

Page’s lawsuit was filed in January in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois’ Eastern Division.

His lawyers said it is the “first of multiple actions in the wake of historic” abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act documented by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz in a report released in December.

Inspector General Horowitz found that the Obama administration was guilty of 17 “significant omissions and errors” in their efforts to obtain a warrant to spy on Page.

As RedState has commented, the “real goldmine” in the Page lawsuit “will not be a monetary settlement, it will be the discovery process which will give Carter Page’s legal team the ability to gain access to all manner of communications by the DNC and Perkins Coie concerning anything to do with the Steele Dossier.”

Last month, Daily Caller reported that Steele had told an audience, “I stand by the integrity of our work, our sources and what we did.”

He also stated that he would not be cooperating with US Attorney General William Barr or US Attorney John Durham in their probes into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation.

  1. Steele needs to be charged and tried here at home. I am glad that somebody is going after him, however. He deserves to be raked over the coals legally.

  2. Page worked for the CIA so of course he met with Foreign actors. But not for the reason given in the Fisa applications. It’s like a episode of GET SMART though not quite as comical. Expose these traitors,Brennan,Clapper,Obama,Shiff <Pelosi etc, etc, etc. Give them a fair trial and if and when they are found guilty Hang them.

  3. Whatever happens to Steele in the British Judiciary is one thing, and what happens to Deep State actors in the USA 🇺🇸 is something else! Between America and Great Britain 🇬🇧 we might get more permanent solutions for our mutual political “problem children.”
For instance, I recall one Hillary Rodham Clinton saying that if she were to be indicted for her crimes while in political office that she would take half of DC down with her! If that is not tantamount to an admission of guilt, then I don’t know what is! I say let her be indicted, and then see how the preliminary hearing goes. If her testimony (or lack thereof) determines the necessity for a trial by jury of her peers, once the trial is scheduled for date certain, let’s see how long it is until the parties with the most to lose by her
testimony penetrate her security detail and WASTE her shit before any further damage to their freedom can be done! Something someone said once about “poetic justice” would apply! However, the resulting can of worms will have already been opened, and the remaining Deep State actors will either individually or collectively collapse under the pressure of American Justice! After Hillary? Obama, of course!

    • Clinton would/will NEVER see the inside of a courtroom or a jail cell. One of her myriad medical issues would spring up and claim her, with the help of her”Friends” that you alluded to.
She would succumb to one or the other, then there would be a State funeral and she would be buried with honors and lauded as a faithful servant of the Peoples.
The grave would need be in a secret spot though due to the fact that there would always be a long line of Deplorables waiting to Piss on her grave.

    • Some still stirring the pot and spreading more disinformation that was clearly not in the IG report, now the IG report say there were 17 inconsistencies which would not have made any difference in the obtaining of the FISA warrants and that the Steele report was not the primary or only thing used in the obtaining of the FISA reports.
This might turn out to be very embarrassing to Trump if Steele is allowed to set and expose everything he knows or has contacts to back him up, now the Russian law suit is so they can find out who Steele’s sources are so they can get rid of anyone spilling the beans on their operations. The fact that those suing are in the very top of the Russian Government elites.

  4. Foreign courts one is guilty and one has to prove his innocence. In the u s a one is innocent and has to be proven guilty . It looks as though if steel is tried overseas first we may get at the truth .
