(Tea Party 247) – Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is proving each and every day why she absolutely should not ever be allowed to sit in the White House wearing the moniker of President of the United States. She’s not only a corrupt liar, but also completely ignorant of how economics works.
Warren’s platform has largely been built on Medicare for All, a socialistic program that would cost a fortune to fund, something she’s refused to really explain ever since announcing the plan.
Hilariously, she’s now selling “Billionaire tears” mugs as a jab at the wealthy, successful business owners in the country, but it’s actually backfired on her in a big way.
You see, she’s selling the mugs online, on a website that’s owned by a billionaire.
Here’s more from Infowars:
Shopify, the company Warren’s campaign is selling the mugs through, is owned by billionaire CEO Tobias Lütke, worth $2.8 billion.
The text for the product on Warren’s campaign website reads, “In November 2019, billionaire and former Goldman Sachs executive Leon Cooperman (who as recently as 2017 settled with the SEC on insider-trading charges) was brought to tears on live television while discussing the prospect that a President Elizabeth Warren might require him to pay his fair share in taxes. Savor a warm, slightly salty beverage of your choice in this union-made mug as you contemplate all the good a wealth tax could do: universal childcare, student debt cancellation, universal free college, and more.”
The overpriced coffee mugs are being sold for $25.
According to FEC records, the Warren campaign generated over $100,000 in revenue for Shopify on credit card processing fees in 2019.
However, the hypocritical decision to team up with the billionaire CEO will likely not hurt Warren’s presidential bid as Democrat voters have time and time again turned a blind eye to scandals involving members of their party.
Here’s a little more info on that Medicare for All business via NBC News:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., released a detailed plan Friday that she says would fully fund a “Medicare for All” bill and cover every American without premiums or deductibles, all with “not one penny in middle-class tax increases.”
Warren’s campaign estimates her plan would keep combined public and private health spending “just under” $52 trillion over the next 10 years, in line with projections under existing law, but would require the federal government to absorb $20.5 trillion in new spending. It seeks to use efficiency savings generated by Medicare for All to cover the uninsured at a similar total cost and add new benefits for dental, vision and long-term care.
“Medicare for All is about the same price as our current path — and cheaper over time,” Warren said in a Medium post. “That means the debate isn’t really about whether the United States should pay more or less. It’s about who should pay.”
Warren places most of the revenue burden on businesses and the wealthy. She plans to carry over almost all existing health funding from employers and state governments while also levying a variety of new taxes on the rich, corporations and high-earning investors — including doubling her signature wealth tax on billionaires.
Warren backs up her revenue and cost estimates with 44 pages of analysis from experts, including former International Monetary Fund chief economist Simon Johnson, former Obama economic adviser Betsey Stevenson, Moody’s chief economist Mark Zandi, and former Obama-appointed Medicare and Medicaid administrator Dr. Donald Berwick.
This, folks, is why you should not in any way, shape, or form, vote for this women for any political office, including dog catcher. She’ll waste every single dime of taxpayer money on programs that will actually devalue health care and make folks worse off than they already are.
Socialists ignore reality. They ignore the fact that economics are an entity that is ruled by unchangeable principles governed by God. The harder they fight against this, the more mess they make.
