(Tea Party 247) – One of the reasons the coronavirus seems to be able to spread so rapidly is because of humans’ inability to simply follow directions and stay home. Sure, we understand the need for basic necessities and unfortunately going to the grocery store is just not something most of us can avoid. That isn’t what we’re talking about.
Around the world there have been numerous incidents highlighting pure, unfiltered human stupidity and irresponsible behavior.
The most recent example of this occurred in Egypt. InfoWars reports:
A large crowd of people congregated on the streets of Alexandria, Egypt to protest against the coronavirus, shouting “Allahu Akbar” in a move that only increases the risk of spreading coronavirus.

After reportedly praying from the balconies for an end to the pandemic, Egyptians decided to do the very thing that would help spread it – gather together in a large group.
The video clip shows a group of hundreds of people marching down the street at night while chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is great).
According to one tweet, the demonstrators even burned a corona flag.

Perhaps in response to the protests, the Egyptian government immediately announced a two week 7pm to 6am curfew for its 100 million population.
During the curfew, people will not be allowed to be on the street, whether walking or traveling in vehicles.
An anti Corona protest!

Way to go, Egypt! You just can’t make this stuff up.
There aren’t adequate enough words to properly convey the sheer stupidity and utter unnecessariness of this large gathering of people in the middle of a worldwide health emergency. It’s totally futile to “protest” a virus. Literally, the best way to “protest” a virus would be to stay home and refuse to get it or spread it. These Egyptians have done the exact opposite of stopping the virus by this ridiculous gathering.
Other nonsensical incidents around the world in which large numbers of people were encouraged to gather include health officials in New York City telling people to get out and celebrate Chinese New Year back when the spread of the virus was just starting to escalate in China. These health officials negligently recommended residents gather in Chinatown celebrations where, undoubtedly, people had just recently returned from China.
Mayor Bill de Blasio’s behavior didn’t help anything either, as he notoriously tweeted that New Yorkers should not let the coronavirus disrupt their lives and then recommended a show to see. This was coupled with his lackadaisical response to the spread of the virus which resulted in him taking very little practical actions. What a clown, and look at New York City now; the epicenter of the coronavirus in the US.
Italy, another place hit horribly bad by the virus, was encouraging people to get out and hug Chinese people. Yes, really. Not only did they run a video campaign showing people affectionately hugging a Chinese man next to a sign that said “I’m a human, not a virus,” but the country was more concerned with appearing politically correct than protecting human lives. Now they’ve become the epicenter in Europe.
Yet, they all blame President Trump. It truly is a circus.
Don’t be like the people in Egypt. Stay home. You cannot do anything to effectively “protest” a virus except for staying home.
