(Tea Party 247) – The Chinese coronavirus has turned the world on its head. Ever since the virus broke out of Wuhan, China, early this year and spread across the world like wild fire nothing has been the same. Democrats in the United States have used the crisis as a political weapon against President Trump and Democratic state governors wasted no time shutting down their state’s commerce as they deemed appropriate causing as much economic damage as possible.
The damaging effects of the virus have been mostly economic as the virus has proven not to be nearly as deadly as originally predicted. China itself has all but moved on from the virus and back to regular life where facemasks have always been commonplace.
Various leaders around the world have even contracted the virus like the UK’s Boris Johnson, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife, and even President Trump. While all of the data thus far has indicated that the only groups who are vulnerable and considered high-risk are the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions and weakened immune systems we are all being forced to live in the “new” coronavirus “normal.”
All the same people who are normally at higher risk for viral infections are at high-risk for the coronavirus. Not only are younger people, including children, not at particularly high risk, it seems the virus is not moving through these groups of people like Democrats had hoped that it would.
On top of everything, it really doesn’t seem to matter what “precautions” we take to “protect the most vulnerable among us” the virus is still spreading, you know, because it’s a virus and that’s what they do.
That being said, it seems as though there is something not quite right with China’s dictator Xi Jinping. He appeared to be unwell at his most recent public appearance Thursday when he gave a televised speech which was mysteriously delayed for 12 hours and then was repeatedly interrupted by Xi’s nagging cough towards the end. He then cancelled the rest of a significant tour of southern China.

Taiwan News reported that Xi observers noticed he “spoke at an unusually slow pace compared to previous talks.”
Could President Xi have the coronavirus? Naturally, the thought of him possibly having the virus isn’t good optics so the state propaganda outlets have done everything they can to downplay the coughing fit and suppress any videos from the speech. We all know the Chinese excel at downplaying.
“Each time Xi coughed during the live feed from state broadcaster CCTV, the camera crew would quickly cut to the audience. However, his incessant cough and gulping of water were still highly audible and followed by long, awkward pauses,” Taiwan News wrote.
Every time Xi would cough the cameras would pan to the audience which, by the way, was packed with audience members sitting shoulder to shoulder, all donning the mask.
As Xi fought to finish his speech, the coughing was so unusual that is caused a visible reaction from the “usually staid audience of communist cadres.”
Though some might find it poetic that Xi may have contracted the coronavirus, the UK Daily Mail seems to think it probably isn’t likely given the fact that cases are low saying that it’s “extremely unlikely that Xi has contracted the virus, although China’s rush to censor his coughing shows how sensitive the issue is politically.”
Pretty incredible that in a country of almost 1.4 billion people the virus is all but a non-issue at this point. China is well-known for having an extremely high population density in its cities, where most people live, and if they can get back to life as usual, why in the world isn’t that happening in the United States?
Oh, that’s right, the Democrats think that destroying America will hurt President Trump, that’s why.
