(Tea Party 247) – For some reason, in the last three days since the death of pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, it has been impossible to determine whether or not a video tape of what happened in the cell the morning the reportedly took his own life exists.
We had already been told he was on suicide watch, in which case he would have been on 24/7 video surveillance.
Then we were told that, oops, he wasn’t on suicide watch.
When did this happen? Why was he taken off suicide watch? The man ended up in the hospital after being found in the fetal position on the floor of his cell back in July, when we were told he had injuries to his neck.
Next, we were told that wait, no, the cameras were malfunctioning. When he wasn’t supposed to be on suicide watch.
Well, was he or wasn’t he? Should there have been a tape, or shouldn’t there?
First there were reports that 24 hour cameras were malfunctioning:

Then, we were told that, in fact, there were no cameras in the part of Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan where Epstein was being kept.
The NY Post reports:
Although there are cameras in the 9 South wing where the convicted pedophile was being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, they are trained on the areas outside the cells and not inside, according to sources familiar with the setup there.
That seems awfully convenient.
So if he had been kept on suicide watch, would there have been a camera on him at all times?
Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams told the post “Something doesn’t smell right – and it’s not his dead body.”
“Something is really troubling about that and I think it needs to be investigated extremely and very thoroughly to make sure there wasn’t any foul play,” he added.
Letitia James, the Attorney General for New York, who is very familiar with the MCC, noted that it is “very difficult to understand how something like this could have happened.”
“My understanding is that he should have been on suicide watch and the people on suicide watch are placed in a type of jumpsuit that wouldn’t allow them to hurt themselves or others,” she said.
On Sunday, the Washington Post reported that an autopsy of Epstein’s body had been completed, but that his cause of death has yet to be determined.
Epstein's autopsy is done, but NYC's Chief Medical Examiner Barbara Sampson says she needs more information before she can make a determination https://t.co/8VrbXGGABF
