(Tea Party 247) – Despite having endured several months of the coronavirus pandemic, which has done a lot of damage around the world, both in death toll and economically speaking, we still don’t seem to have a ton of information on it to know what we are really dealing with.
One of the most critical pieces of information we need to know in order to be able to treat this illness and prepare ourselves for it’s eventual return in upcoming years, is where it came from. Knowing this and how it spread from animals to human is a critical part of creating a vaccination for the illness.
There are multiple theories being touted as possible explanations for the origins of COVID-19. Some are being widely spread and heralded as the “officials story,” while others are mocked, scorned, and laughed out of the room as conspiracy theories.
China’s prevailing theory up to this point is that the virus had come from the wet market, despite tons of evidence being found that suggests that it started in a lab and was accidentally released into the public.
Well, now China is singing a different tune. The communist country now says the virus did not come from the wet market after all, as there have been no virus samples found in the animals there.
Here’s more from Daily Wire:
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) reported this week in state-run media that Chinese scientists are now leaning towards believing that the coronavirus pandemic that has ravaged the world did not originate in Huanan seafood market in Wuhan.
The Global Times, which is Chinese state-run propaganda, said that while the original theory that China publicly promoted was that the coronavirus originated in the wet market, new evidence “indicates that the speculation may not be right.” The Global Times reported:
The Huanan seafood market is more like a victim of COVID-19 rather than the origin of the novel coronavirus, Gao Fu, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and member of the National Committee of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, told the media on Monday.
Gao said he had gone to Wuhan to collect samples for COVID-19 researchers in early January, but no viruses were detected in the animal samples. Viruses were only found in environmental samples, including sewage.
As of now, the state-run media in China had no other suggestions for where the virus might have originated from. Again, U.S. intelligence sources have stated they believe COVID-19 managed to escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology during an accident sometime toward the end of 2019.
The problem, of course, is that China has stonewalled attempts by other governments to come in and investigate the lab to see if there was indeed such a leak. You know how you ask someone a question and they give you a non-answer, which is really kind of an answer? Well, this situation feels like that.
The Saturday Telegraph, which is an Australian publication, reported earlier this month on a 15-page dossier compiled by the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, which is comprised of intelligence agencies from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand:
As intelligence agencies investigate whether the virus inadvertently leaked from a Wuhan laboratory, the team and its research led by scientist Shi Zhengli feature in the dossier prepared by Western governments that points to several studies they conducted as areas of concern.
It cites their work discovering samples of coronavirus from a cave in the Yunnan province with striking genetic similarity to COVID-19, along with their research synthesising a bat-derived coronavirus that could not be treated…
In Wuhan, in China’s Hubei province, not far from the now infamous Wuhan wet market, Dr Shi and her team work in high-protective gear in level-three and level-four bio-containment laboratories studying deadly bat-derived coronaviruses.
At least one of the estimated 50 virus samples Dr Shi has in her laboratory is a 96 per cent genetic match to COVID-19. When Dr Shi heard the news about the outbreak of a new pneumonia-like virus, she spoke about the sleepless nights she suffered worrying whether it was her lab that was responsible for the outbreak.
If the Wuhan Institute of Virology is responsible for the mess we have right now, and the communist government of China, along with help from the World Health Organization, managed to cover up the actual number of cases they had and the deaths that resulted from it, then they are responsible for the destruction of both lives and economies.
As such, they ought to be held accountable for what they have done and make amends in an appropriate manner, the least of which would include some sort of monetary payment to help ease the economic suffering resulting from the pandemic.
