(Tea Party 247) – While the New York Post was censored by Big Tech for their bombshell report on emails, photos, and videos seeming to belong to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, just weeks ahead of the 2020 election, they appear to have been undeterred in their commitment to report the truth.
You likely won’t hear this headlining the evening news, but they’ve got a new report on damning and explosive news on the “president-elect” that, had our nation an honest, free press, would be all over the place.
The Post reports that a cancer charity founded by Joe Biden in memory of his son Beau, who passed away from brain cancer in 2015, is turning out to be a very poor tribute to the late Delaware Attorney General.
According to federal filings, the Biden Cancer Initiative, was founded in 2017 to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,” according to its IRS mission statement.
However, federal filings reveal that, in its first two years of operation, the gave out no grants and spent millions on salaries for employees.
In the fiscal years of 2017 and 2018, the charity took in $4,809,619 in contributions in 2017 and 2018, spending $3,070,301 on payroll in those two years.
Gregory Simon, the group’s president, earned a whopping $429,850 in fiscal 2018 according to the most recent federal tax filings.
This was nearly double from fiscal 2017, in which Simon, a one-time Pfizer executive and well-established Washington D.C. lobbyist who led the Obama administration’s cancer task force, had earned a still significant $224,539.
Danielle Carnival, the former chief of staff for Obama’s cancer initiative, the Cancer Moonshot Task Force, earned $258,207 in 2018.
Meanwhile, its spending on grants and research is much more modest.
That is…it appears they spent literally nothing on what the organization was founded to actually do.
The point of the charity, according to Simon, was not to give out grants but to find ways to speed up treatment for anyone, regardless of socioeconomic status.
When Biden was serving under Obama, he spearheaded the Cancer Moonshot Task Force after his son’s death, and after leaving, his initiative sought to continue this work by providing “urgent” solutions to treating cancer.
The board if the organization was filled with top oncologists and celebrity survivors of cancer, such as Jimmy Gomez of the pop group Black Eyed Peas.
However, after just two years, operations were “paused” when Joe and his wife, Jill Biden, stepped down to focus on his White House bid instead.
This was when things got difficult, apparently.
“We tried to power through but it became increasingly difficult to get the traction we needed to complete our mission,” Simon told the AP in July 2019.
